There was a line of chairs against one wall, some guy cutting hair named Joe, and a stack of well worn Popular Mechanics & Field and Streams lying on a table over by the soft drink chest. Joe, who learned to cut hair in the Army, knew only two styles of cuts. When he finished with your cut, he would rub Bay rum in your scalp. This soap is a tribute to those Saturday mornings when I would sometimes hear a bad word slip or get a cigarette ash in my eye or on special occasions, get to pick a drink out of the cooler.
Each hand cut bar weighs approximately 5 ounces.
